The third edition of Impact Deal kicks off

Impact Deal is being renewed and strengthened, the “pact” for social and environmental change promoted by Fondazione CRT and OGR Torino. The call for applications is open until December 2 on the Impact Deal website.

Fondazione CRT and OGR Torino are launching the third edition of Impact Deal, the European data-driven acceleration program for social and environmental impact enterprises. The program will be held in a hybrid format, both online and at OGR Torino, within the network and hub for innovation and applied research, OGR Tech. Impact Deal is designed and developed under the scientific supervision of ISI Foundation, with operational management by TOP-IX and in collaboration with AshokaImpact Hub and Impact Europe.

Data Club

One of the program’s strengths is the access it provides to exclusive datasets for participants. A key contribution in this regard comes from the Data Club, a group of corporate and public-private organizations ready to grant access to their data. Confirmed participants include Città di TorinoBanca Sella and Windtre, while the 2024 edition will also feature AlmawaveAdvaneo GmbHCuebiq and Open Data Hub (a platform provided by NOI Techpark).

Additional companies from the Piedmont region will be involved thanks to the valuable mediation of the Digital Innovation Hub Piemonte and the Mesap Innovation Hub, both of which are new entrants among the stakeholders of Impact Deal.

Six months of data-driven acceleration

Once the participating enterprises are identified, the program is structured in two phases. The first phase (January – March 2025) involves analyzing the needs of the accelerated businesses and matching them with members of the Data Club and investors.

In the second phase (April – June 2025), the focus will be on finalizing funding opportunities and building strategic collaborations based on access to public and private datasets.

Previous editions

The companies that participated in the first two editions of Impact Deal raised over 30 million euros in capital. They did this across a wide range of fields: from sustainable mobility to combating misinformation and air pollution, from promoting environmentally-friendly packaging to providing services for workplace well-being.

Equally important are the collaborations made possible by the program: some of the accelerated enterprises had the opportunity to access exclusive datasets related to mobility flows (thanks to Telcos TIM and Windtre), anonymized financial transactions (thanks to Banca Sella), and the significant data resources collected by the City of Turin.

The third “call for impact enterprises” will remain open until December 2. For more information and applications, visit impactdeal.eu.
