Development and Innovation
Our approach to innovation is defined as "Hands-on" and "Bits-on", relying on a "hard" infrastructure composed of network, cloud computing, platforms, and "soft" components such as skills, data, and national and international partnerships.
We provide specialized support for those who wish to develop new innovative solutions.
The focus on innovation themes (not only technological) has been part of TOP-IX’s DNA since its inception.
This has often led us to anticipate trends that later became real hype, from start-ups to the federation of the Cloud, from Data (both “Open” and “Big”) to civic technologies, social innovation, and the impact economy.
From these experiences, several projects have emerged, often developed in collaboration with diverse partners, following the principle dear to us of networks and connections.
From our work on Big Data, the Big Dive course took shape, developed in collaboration with Axant, ToDo, and Fondazione ISI,
as well as the Football Data Analyst experience in partnership with Wylab.
Initiatives such as
have been created to spread a culture of innovation in the Public Administration, the Third Sector, and in companies.
Following the same vein, Impact Deal has been developed (which sees TOP-IX alongside OGR, Fondazione CRT, Microsoft, Fondazione ISI) in the challenging mission of accelerating impact generation through data and support for entrepreneurship.
