The second edition comes to the end and our Divers have started yesterday to work on their final BIG DATA projects processing the datasets provided by our data providers.
The available datasets are basically 4:
– A dataset extracted from Guarini platform (Guarini aims at collecting the cultural heritage of Piedmont region)
– Neubot: a dataset based on a community project that allows to investigate the Net Neutrality across the Internet
– RAI: a collection of URL links related to news and lifestyle topics
– TOP-IX: a dataset based on logs from the Consortium streaming platform
The week will end with a public presentation scheduled for Friday morning (July 5).
The informal presentation event will be held at the usual venue of the course (via the basilica 13 – Turin), starting from 10:00. In case you are interested to participate please send a mail to info.bigdive@top-ix.org
